Well, I’m a huge fan. I guess you must have heard that countless times. Of course, every true fan dreams of meeting their icon someday. That’s how it is with me. I’ve always marvelled at the depth of your skill & creativity. It keeps me wondering how you do the things you do.
Your name just pops up everytime I discuss music & entertainment with any one. My brother would say, now I understand what it means when people say things like “we want to thank Don Jazzy for his contributions to the music industry”. We got a lot of respect for you man. All my life, I’ve been a lover of quality music and at some point, it was really lacking in the Nigerian music industry. I dreamt of a time when we would rate & play our music alongside international acts and really feel good about it.
It was a long time coming but we all know that dream is a reality today. All thanks to the tireless efforts of visionaries like you. It can only get better.
I got acquainted with your work sometime in 2004 and I’ve followed your progress since then. From Tongolo to Oliver Twist to Solar Plexus, Mo’Hits to MAVIN. I always knew there was something spectacular about Weird MC’s “Ijoya” that made it such a huge hit but couldn’t lay my hands on it until I discovered that the genius Don Baba J produced the beat! In Wande Coal’s Voice, “na who do the beat oh?” D’banj himself attested to it while presenting 2Face with the “Artiste of the year” award at the 2010 MAMA.
I look at you and I see a product of hardwork, dilligence, humility and grace all wrapped up in one with a ribbon on it. Just to mention a few. You inspire me to aspire to greater heights listening to you, reading or watching your interviews and just following you. You possess a business acumen that I find intriguing plus an amazing sense of humor to top it all.
It’s a long shot. But whether I’m chosen or not, I won’t stop looking up to you. I ‘ll chase my dreams so I can be great like you someday.

It would be nice to go on a date with don jazzy, weird as it sounds, I have never heard him talk. I have a thing for quiet guys and for the fact he is good at what he does, that means he is smart as well. I have always been a big Fan of Michael the days he use to hold the stick like a boss damn I was in love and still am “covers face”, I love listening to his beats Genius I must say very impressed.
Been lucky enough to meet Michael for couple of minutes and he’s so lovely doesn’t make you feel anyless human extremely nice and caring and best of all Humble that day my love for him grew more.
