The endowed one Dapo ‘D’banj‘ Oyebanjo is truly fast becoming an oliver twist, wanting more and more success as each moment passes.
After only recently releasing his massive mega hit “Oliver Twist” successfully in the UK through Mercury Records, latest news making the rounds is that D’banj is to head Def Jam Africa - an arm of Island Def Jam, which is under the parent company Universal Music Group.
D’Banj‘s 1st order of business is that he has gone ahead to sign one of Africa’s fastest rising unsigned stars David ‘Davido‘ Adeleke to the label along with K-Switch
According to sources, the signing was said to have taken place on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in DavidO‘s residence in Lekki in a meeting which had D’banj, Abisagboola ‘Bankulli’ Oluseun, Davido, Asa Asika and Davido‘s father Deji Adeleke all present.
The mercurial rise of both stars continue…
