Popular radio/TV personality toke makinwa finally breaks the silence and confronts online rumours. In this exclusive 360nobs interview, toke speaks on her personal style, relationship, role models and future plans.

What’s the one word that best describes you?

‘Cray-noxious’ crazy and obnoxious.

Tell us about your childhood.

I had an amazing childhood. Christmas was definitely my favourite time of the year and I always looked forward to spending time with family and friends.

If you could, what’s the one thing in your past you would change?

Absolutely nothing. I think life is a journey. To get to the future you must have a past that you’re coming from and your past is part of who you are. Good, bad, happy, sad, truth is, it’s contributed to where you are right now and will take you to where you are going.

Tell us about your first time on radio.

I spent my first night thanking all my colleagues and all my friends for tuning in (laughs). It was exciting, nerve racking but all in all, it was fun.

Most embarrassing radio moment

I left the mic on and started gisting. (lol)very embarrassing but I didn’t get in trouble. Thank God.

Apart from radio/TV what else are you involved in?

MC-ing. I will be  mc-ing at my dad’s birthday  in Spain next week and  I’m also  the host of  MBGN 2012 so I’m definitely  looking forward to that.

Did you have any formal media training?

No I didn’t. Growing up I was always passionate about talking. At one point I even thought I was going to be a lawyer.

Tell us something about Toke we don’t know

I can’t tell you here 100% I k now who I am, getting to know ones self is a journey, and I am so excited with each day. I think I am very spontaneous.
