KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.
The video was produced by the campaign group - Invisible Children which describes itself as a movement seeking to end the conflict in Uganda and tells the story of a former child soldier called Jacob.
It has gathered a lot of attention online and an accompanying Twitter campaign has seen the hashtags #stopkony and #kony2012 being tweeted by celebrities including Juliette Lewis and Zooey Deschanel.
