The world’s leading phone manufacturer - Nokia, on Friday, February 24, 2012 launched a new range of products into the Nigerian market under the Asha brand. The Nokia Asha 201 and 303 were launched in a grand way at Deuces, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The launch was an exclusive networking and entertainment event with Denrele as the host for the night and performances from crowd pleasers like Ice Prince, Phenom, Dark Poet and Flowssick.
The winners of the Nokia Tweet A Rap Line Competition were also given their phones. Asade Olanrewaju Jimoh won the 360NoBS prize. Congratulations to all finalists that made it to the event and all those who participated!
The Nokia Asha phones are said to be messaging devices produced with full QWERTY keypad for quick and easy text input. The Angry Birds were on patrol the whole night, looking for some Pigs to squash …Lovely tees, by the way.
