How do live performances make you feel?

Excited, because it gives me the opportunity to express my music the exact way I want to, also I’m able to factor in my environment at the time into the performance enabling me and my fans to interact while am on stage.

It just offers room for versatility and then, my fans can also see first-hand, that their star, (me) is not just doing music for the fun of it but he *Flexing shoulders* is really, really talented. *Wink* LOL.

You’ve worked with a lot of acts and released a lot of good singles; you’ve even been nominated for awards. Why do you think it took so long for the Hakym buzz to kick in?

It took so long because it wasn’t time yet. Now that God had said that its time and has given me the right platform, that is, Serengeti Music baby! There ain’t no stopping me. The Hakym time is here Buahahaha.

What are you working on right now? 

I’m always working o. Right now I’m focusing on my Album and my next single. It’s gonna be mad I swear down!!! That’s all I can say on that for now, stingily keeping the juicier bit till the right time. He, he! TIMING IS KEY. Lamba that too!

What should your fans expect at the One Mic show?

If I tell them I’ll spoil the fun na ahn ahn? Curiosity in itself is entertaining. *Evil Laugh* I love you all, Fans. Be curious enough to be there. Let me surprise you. I’m out!

Hosts Kel and Kunle KB Bello return for another exciting season of music- live!

With acts like Capital FEMI, GT the Guitarman, Hakym the Dream, Shaydee, Yeka Onkaand Aramide, the first One Mic this year will once again present talent in different genres like R n B, Acoustic Soul, and Pop.

Apart from fabulous performances from Femi, Hakym and co, there will also be an Open Micsession with the first prize being free Studio Session and Production by Coldflames!
