On Friday, December 23, 2011, Lagos witnessed one of the biggest charity concerts of the year.

Sahara Group hosted a charity and fundraising event at the Expo hall, Eko Hotel with amazing performances from American superstar T-PainD’Banj, Flavour, eLDee and a host of others!

Proceeds of the Charity event which attracted a minimum of a 5% donation of the tickets’ face value went to selected charity homes like Down Syndrome foundation of Nigeria, Lagos cheshire home for the physically challenged, H.E.W.S foundation and food Basket foundation international.

Fun, music, magic and lots of entertainment.Event: Sahara Group (energy sector)end of the year and charity fund raising ceremony.

Sahara Group, which became 15years old this year, also rewarded their long serving employees that have worked with the company 5 years or longer.

The Event was tagged BACK TO SCHOOL and a lot of the guests obliged dressing up like students and teachers.

  • Nigerinas and their dress sense lyk we get it, u were meant to dress lyk a school student,the simpler d better,luk at kate henshaw very classy.I dnt understand the rest.
    As for dbanj,he might not be a gud musician in terms of lyrics but he sure is an entertainer to the core combined with his swags,that makes him so succesful

  • Seriously,T-Pain?The event must really cost a bunch.After his “5 o’clock” hit track,he is very much in demand.Sahara Group seems to be loaded to the hilt.

  • Looked like it was much fun……@anna,D”banj”s lyrics are fair enuf if u actually sit down to listen to his wordings asides Don Jazzy”s beats.Yeah,sometimes he”s comical but when he”s serious,he is serious.

  • The lady in the red beret in Picture 5 looks amazing. Wow!
