A very unique end of year event for professionals and members of the corporate community, appropriately tagged ‘The Corporate Elite’ took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos on December, 16, 2011.

This first of its kind event which was made possible by Upfront&Personal (an event managing and global management consulting firm), was designed to entertain the professionals and members of the corporate community.

The event featured a number of dope musical performances by legendary international music acts like HipHop/RnB group Blackstreet, R&B electrofunk group Midnight Star, Howard Hewett of the Shalamar fame, The Manhattans and Jessica Reedy.

Special recognition was given to the Indigenous & fast growing music labels like Empire Mates Entertainment (EME),  Mo’ Hits, Chocolate City, Storm Records and pioneer Nigerian music label – Kennis Music.

According to the organizers, the high-powered black tie event was put together to reward excellence, elegance, integrity, sophistication and diligence among stakeholders in the corporate world and was sponsored by telecommunications giant, MTN and a host of other multi-national organizations cutting across diverse sectors of the economy.
