The prestigious and much awaited Annual Johnnie Walker Society Event is to be held in Lagos on Thursday 10th November @ Ember Creek, 32 Awolowo Rd, Ikoyi, Lagos. To be attended by Nigeria’s elite business and celebrity Scotch whisky connoisseurs, the event will be hosted by Thomas Jones, leading authority on Scotch Whisky and the Johnnie Walker® Global Brand Ambassador. As part of the strictly by invitation event, Tom will treat guests to a special whisky master class to help them discover more about the magic and mystery of Johnnie Walker® and how to enjoy Scotch Whisky to the full.
A hugely knowledgeable and credible Scotch whisky expert, Tom travels the world sharing stories and his intimate knowledge with fellow whisky lovers. This will be his first visit to Nigeria and over the course of the evening he will inspire guests about the amazing history and heritage of the world’s leading blended Scotch whisky brand and its founder.
Nearly 200 years ago, a farm hand named John Walker began a journey – selling blended whisky from a small grocery store in Kilmarnock, Scotland. Two centuries later, Johnnie Walker® is not only the world’s best-selling Scotch whisky, found in over 150 countries, but also an iconic international symbol that stands for having a dream and for having the courage to pursue it relentlessly.
