Glo Naija Sings (Season 3): Vickiola Voted Out and then there were 9

share on:

The Top 10 became a Top 9 last Sunday (October 2, 2011) as Las Gidi’s Vickiola headed home based on last week’s “Movie Soundtracks” performances and your votes

Did you watch this Sunday’s show? Not to worry, we got it all covered…

So we are therefore left with 9 contestants!

The theme for the Top 9 was “naija tunes” (interestingly, two performed tunes from our presenter, Darey!).
Here is what you missed:

Precious – Not The Girl” (Darey)

Am OK – Never Far Away” (Lagbaja)
Vote number = 1

Christian – Abosede” (Sunny Neji)
Vote number = 2

Lynn – Coochie Coochie” (Jodene)

Guest judge Sammie Okposo‘s lowlight was Oluwakemi while his highlight was Vicky.

Onyeka Onwenu was really impressed with Vicky and Tee Songz , and she agreed with Sammie about Oluwakemi not making the grade, and added that Oni had also disappointed.

Olisa‘s lowlights were Mattade and Christian, while his best were the Vicky and Tee Songz.

Anyways, that’s their opinions and I hope you vote because that’s how to voice yours! As the power to choose Nigeria’s favourite singer is in the hands of the viewers, one talented contestant will walk away with the grand prize.

Now it’s up to you to vote to keep your favourite in the Glo Najia Sings competition!

Remember: You are voting for the Glo Naija Sings contestant that you want to win!

Voting is currently open and closes on Thursdays at Midnight in Nigeria (01.00 CAT).

You can vote online here; the page also includes all the numbers for the SMS lines and details on how you can vote on MXiT.

Don’t let these aspiring superstars down!  Tune in next Sunday to see how your favourite fared, only on M-Net.
