After a year in the industry, the MariamMoussa label has significantly grown into a refreshing label tending to a more consecutive luxurious brand. Whilst the debut collection was ‘a touch of everything’, this collection is a reflection of the designer’s personal growth and detachment; hence, “Declaration of Independence”.
It is also a symbolic representation of the pieces in the collection, which are devoid of the ‘summer trend’; short or no sleeves, short dresses, shorts and the likes.
With the introduction of this collection, the MariamMoussa label is in pursuit of a rare niche in the fashion industry – that which is conservative, yet stylish with an aura of elegance and sophistication after all the MariamMoussa woman is spontaneous and always willing to make a positive statement.
To achieve this look and still remain relevant, fabrics such as chiffon, cotton, French and dry lace were incorporated, bright colours and unusual combinations are also evident in this collection.
