Tintin is a popular comic series based on the adventures of a young Belgian reporter, created by Belgian artist Gerorges “Hergé” Remi, which a lot of comic buffs like myself grew up reading. To take the widely acclaimed comic series to the big screen, renowned movie top-guns (and lovers of the comic series), Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson will be at the helm of it. The former is in charge of directing this big screen adaptation, while the latter takes the reins of its production.
Synopsis:
“The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn” is based Tintin’s (Jamie Bell) first encounter with Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis) and the discovery of a clue to the treasure of his ancestor Sir Francis Haddock. They set out to find it with protection from a prison escapee who tried to get the treasure as well as Detectives Thompson and Thomson (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost).
