Immortals is based somewhat on a Greek myth (Theseus and the minotaur and the Titanomachy) and has got at its helm, the same people that brought the movie 300 to us (Awoooo!) . Though it isn’t going to be released till the 11th of November, it’s newly released trailer has got people talking already thanks to some intense scenes, and i reckoned i ought to let you in on one of the most anticipated movies of this year.
Oh Yeah! Henry Cavill who plays Thesus (the lead character) in this movie, plays Clark Kent/Superman in Man Of Steel due in theatres 2012. Let’s know what you think about him as Superman after you’ve checked out this trailer.

Synopsis
Years after the Titanomachy, the Titan Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) declares war on humanity. He searches for the Epirus Bow, a legendary weapon created by the war god Ares, which will allow him to free the rest of the Titans from Tartarus and take revenge on the Olympians who brought about their downfall. In accordance with ancient laws, the gods are unable to take a side in the war between Hyperion and humanity. It is left to a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill), chosen by Zeus (Luke Evans) and accompanied by the priestess Phaedra (Freida Pinto) and a slave (Stephen Dorff), to protect his homeland and save the gods.
