My 1000 SMILES of 2010

Okay, I’ve written and cleared off eight different opening to this article cos the words did not totally express my actual feelings or reason for the smile collection.

Here’s the deal. I’ve been thinking of ways to achieve world peace. You know the sort of peace that makes one travel from one part of the world to another without fear of the Unknown.

You know the sort of world peace that every CNN breaking news would be a report of something good happening in different parts of the world and not of WARS, suicide bombing, hostage taking or school shootouts.

I cannot guarantee such a world but I know something that can make a lot of difference in our current world. -A SMILE!

A smile may not stop all the war or man’s hatred for another but it will surely make a lot of difference if we smile to each other, No?

I’m collecting 1000 smiles from different parts of the world as my Christmas gift to the world. I would take most of these pictures and I’ll be posting at least 5 pictures daily until the end of 2010.

Pictures will cut across people from different works of life and all you need to do to be part of this is just to smile and at the end of it all, I’ll make a big collage of these smiles and send it out as my New Year card.

Let’s make it fun, lets push for world peace with SMILES.

    This is an amazing thing Noble , and I must commend you . Reading theses article on smiles got me smiling and I said to my self the world and its environs will be a better and safer place if we learn to smile at people and even at nature, for there in lies our smooth skin,youthfulness ,joy, peace,good health and sound mind.
